16 April 2011:
The Darwin Blues & Roots Club are on a mission from God! Channelling brothers Jake and Elwood, and backed by a full band including horn section, we’ll be belting out all the classics from the cult movie in good, sweet Chicago fashion.
The Blues and Roots Club continues to sell out shows, with our laidback sounds – good music played with passion and soul.
Support acts will include local legend Mr Wilson and his band The Love Handles. And the latest rumours have it that the club will also pay homage to the legendary late Gary Moore as part of the show.
So slide into the Studio Theatre for a great night of cabaret, rhythm and blues style.
Mark your diaries now and buy your ticket online.
We look forward to seeing you at the Studio 93 (Darwin Entertainment Centre) on Saturday, 5 March.
